-ephemerality:

You are a sight for aching eyes
A river for my thirst
When all the world is harsh and dry
Wasted by the curse
All words seem better being poured
Then set to single grace
What could i’ve know of love before
My eyes had seen your face.

Dustin Kensrue - Of Crows and Crowns
Live at The Troubadour, 2/5/12

I’m legitimately obsessed with this song right now. Dustin can really do no wrong. He is seriously perfect.

Just incredible.

Teppei Teranishi / Thrice. Best Buy Theater. 2012.
I knew him first as Teppei-san the leathercrafter, but most know him as electric guitarist extraordinaire of the critically acclaimed band Thrice. Last night, Teppei and Sangsouvanh invited me to the NYC leg of Thrice’s farewell tour and I had the pleasure of enjoying the concert backstage. Teppei killed it onstage and Ping handled his business as Thrice’s guitar tech, moving back and forth with purpose and extinguishing any problem that arose throughout the show. It was the first time I saw both of them in action.
There is something very enjoyable about watching friends of yours doing what they were created to do.

First off, nice capture brother Andrew!
Last night was filled with such great friends, new and old. A great positivity filled our conversations and space as we all goofed off and sipped Bud Light in the green room. Luckily for us, we’ve been blessed with each others company and friendship. Hope to see you all very soon.
